Over 140 members from around state actively participated in this past weekend’s Leadership Summit. On Saturday, our sessions were based off of AFT Michigan’s Power Wheel for building strong and effective locals and constituency groups met to discuss issues. On Sunday, a number of locals met to work on their strategic plans as part of the LEAD program, while others learned about AFT’s new Connect database, and a third group completed the AFT Michigan Member Organizing Institute training.
