The AFT is launching the AFT Book Club Series in 2024, a pioneering initiative in collaboration with Share My Lesson and the Albert Shanker Institute.

Register your Kids for Youth in Unions at Black Men in Unions 2024 Conference

Just one month away from the Black Men in Unions 2024 conference, running from Thursday, February 8 through Sunday, February 11, 2024. This year’s BMIU conference has ten incredible workshops to choose from and will be held at Somerset Inn in Troy, Michigan.

One of the workshops offered is Youth in Unions, specifically for the children of BMIU attendees. This workshop is designed to teach our kids about the importance of unions and organizing. Creating the leaders of the next generation starts now!
