This year AFT Michigan and the MEA are are working together to help elect pro-public education candidates. Every Saturday, both unions will participate in education walks to help turn out the vote for our endorsed candidates. Join us and wear your #RedForEd t-shirt!
Our first Saturday will be September 15, 9am in Southfield & Grand Rapids. We are trying to make sure at least one event will happen within a reasonable distance from where most members live–so while you’re of course encouraged to attend every Saturday, please make a special effort to make it on those Saturdays when we are in your area!
