Rain didn’t stop our #RedForEd volunteers this past Saturday. Over 100 volunteers showed up ready to “get it done” with AFT President Randi Weingarten and AFT Michigan members Gretchen Whitmer–candidate for Governor–and Jocelyn Benson–candidate for Secretary of State. In addition, Dana Nessel, candidate for Attorney General, and Andy Levin, candidate for Congress in District 9, came by. AFT Michigan and MEA members were undeterred by the rain as they knocked doors to strengthen public education and educator voice by advocating for our endorsed candidates.
