Trade unionists from across Michigan gathered at UAW Region 1 in Warren on Wednesday, January 24 for the MI AFL-CIO Legislative Convention. Among other highlights, Taylor Federation of Teachers president Linda Moore proposed a successful amendment to add mandatory kindergarten to the MI AFL-CIO platform.
