Earlier this month, AFT Michigan invited all Republican and Democratic candidates for governor who filed paperwork with the state of Michigan to participate in our endorsement process. The first step was completion of questionnaire which was developed based on AFT Michigan’s policy platforms and member input.
The candidate questionnaires are available for download below.
The next step in the endorsement process will be participation in a town hall-style candidate forum at the January 13 Leadership Summit. AFT Michigan members are invited to attend the Leadership Summit to hear from candidates by registering here. The forum will also be livestreamed via the AFT Michigan Facebook page.
