The next series of presidential debates will occur on July 30th and July 31st in Detroit, and we want to make sure our members have every opportunity to watch and get information about the candidates. This series of debates will highlight labor and labor issues, and it is even more important that our members really engage.
If someone is hosting a debate watch party, please register it by going to https://actionnetwork.org/event_campaigns/2020-primary-debate-watch-party. Even if you are co-hosting a party with another organization – your local AFL-CIO, for example – sign up so we know when and where the party is taking place.
After you’ve registered your party, go to http://aftvotes.aft.org/sites/default/files/article_pdf_files/2019-06/2020_primarydebatewatchtoolkit_0.pdf to download a toolkit that will give tips and tools for setting up a party, and guiding you through best practices to hosting a successful party.
