What: Metro Detroit Labor Day Parade. Wear your #Red For Ed t-shirt!
Who: AFT Michigan members, union members, friends and family
When: Monday, Sept. 2nd, Labor Day
Line up starts – 7:00 a.m.
Parade begins – 9:00 a.m.
Where: AFT Michigan members will line up at Michigan Ave. & Trumbull. Parade participants will march south on Washington Blvd. past Cobo Hall, past UAW Ford Program Center (151 W. Jefferson), ending at the Labor Legacy Monument.
Note: Come by the AFT Michigan office, 2661 E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit, 10am-3pm Monday through Thursday to pick up your #Red For Ed t-shirt. T-shirt pick-up will be available through August 29th or until they’re all gone. AFT Michigan will not have t-shirts at the parade.
