Never been to the table? Need to discuss how it all works? Determining and developing issues, writing language, working the negotiation’s table, involving the members, enhancing leverage and other topics will be discussed.
 
  Experienced Bargainers
Been there, done that. Know how it all works at the table, but settlements are not what we deserve. Need to enhance our power, increase our leverage, give the employer reason to agree. Good idea, but how do we do it? This is your workshop.

Participants from 1st Time Bargainers and Experienced Bargainers will team up to develop a plan to achieve a good contract for a local union.

Health Care Advocate Training – Part II
 
HCAs will participate in the first and final segments of the Bargaining Conference.
 
10:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Part I, held regionally in January and February, focused on prescription drugs and HRAs/HSAs. Part II will deal with medical plans. Participants will learn about plan options and approaches to maximize benefits and minimize costs.
