Target Audience
Current and prospective Leaders
Objectives:
Identify your own leadership style;
Understand specific constructive and destructive leadership behavior;
Develop and practice planning skills to set realistic goals and achieve them without burning out;
Apply these planning skills to union work of collective bargaining, contract administration, professional development, political and legislative action; and
Empowering and inspiring others.
Track # 2 - Let's Keep It Going
Target Audience
2004 Leader Development attendees and others with experience setting goals and developing strategies.
Objectives:
Review, discuss and critique local union experiences establishing goals, objectives and implementing plans to achieve them;
Identify current priorities;
Discuss current and develop new strategies for achieving priorities; and
Develop a plan with specific, measurable objectives.
